My First Ever Video (Terrible), But We All Start Somewhere
Thought you all might enjoy the very first video I ever made as an internet marketer. Wow! This video was shot in May of 2008.
The videos that were to follow, were actually much worse. This first video isn't terrible, but still pretty bad. This was my first attempt. As I recall, and you can tell, I had more trouble with the technical aspect of it. I recruited Katie to help me. We wound up getting in an argument because she wasn't helping me the way I wanted her to. It was like I was a 5th grader mad at his mom for not helping me the way the teacher said to do it.
I also think I look younger. Man! Have I aged that much in a year and a half? Phew. To many late nights, early mornings and coffee. Plus I had a child in that span of time. And moved cross country to Portland.
Last little ditty on this...I actually thought I deleted that Youtube channel. I recall uploading it, and it going all wrong, so I x'd out and started a new channel. Little did I know that after all this time, it's still there. At only 78 plays, not many of have seen it (thank goodness). Don't know how I found it. I was doing some deep searching on Youtube today and was amazed to come across this. I felt like hiding under the desk. Hah!

Precious.....
It's actually very good for a start and certainly attests to the meticulous manner that has served you so well since.
Thanks.
I smiled all the way through this video =D
hey, we all start somewhere right?
I'm looking at some of my older blog posts and thinking "gosh, this is rubbish!"
xD
You got your message out, Eric. That's what counts and it was done in an entertaining way.
Great first try for the "Smart Beginner"!
The more I see of you the greater it gets. You had to start some where just wait till you see mine scary. See you in portland.
Eric, it might not be as polished as your more recent work, but its honest and its you. Now if you had pulled up on a Harley, that would have been an interesting twist. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for sharing this! It makes me glad that I really did delete my first video from my YouTube channel :) You never know--this video could have impacted someone who was stuck in the old system in a big way. Good for you for putting yourself out there to inspire others!
LOL! This is such a classic! I won't lie to you Eric, I was laughing out loud. But honestly, for your first video, it wasn't that bad as others above me have mentioned. I have seen WAY worse and by people who've been in the game much longer than you have.
It's amazing though to think about back then compared to where you are now. I'm pretty sure I took down all of my old youtube videos as well. I still have them on my computer, maybe i'll take this time to reminisce...
Thanks everyone for your comments. When I think back to this time period I just shake my head. I was in such a different place than where I am now. I had such different expectations - like so many people - I don't think I realized how much work it was really going to take. It's been quite a trip. P.S. I love that moped.
Eric
